Because I’m in and out of my car all day (and navigating flooded gutters and deep puddles), my rainy day footwear must be waterproof. I only have two pairs of water tight shoes: the short black boots I wore yesterday and these navy rain boots. Already, I’m tired of planning outfits around these two footwear options. But we need the rain, so I’ll keep my whining to a minimum.

Dress, Merona (shortened). Shirt (under dress), Old Navy. Tights, Miss Sixty. Socks, Forever 21. Boots, TJ Maxx. Earrings, gift. Scarf, swap. Bag, thrifted.
