Brello

Sweater, Body Central. Skirt, Newport News. Pumps, Delicious. Silk scarf, flea market somewhere north of San Diego, CA. Sunnies, Hawaiian Tropic. Bag, Prague (thrifted). Leaf pendant (obscured by the scarf), thrifted.

Last time I wore brown and yellow, I received some amusing comments. The color combination reminded one person of M&Ms and someone else of something far less savory. Let’s hope the M&M (or even the public transit conductor) association won out today.

That is a cute look. Love the color contrast of the scarf.

Question: I have a short neck and scarves don't seem to work for me. Any recommendations?

FF - I would recommend oblong scarves, instead of square, and leaving the ends long to lengthen the look.

You could always wear the scarf somewhere else, like your hair, waist, wrist, or handbag.

I love this entire look on you-- the colors are fabulous together and very "fall"!

You look great in the shape of this outfit. I love the fitted top and the flare-y skirt. Great way to accentuate your figure :)

I wore a brown skirt and yellow sweater today with a brown belt, brown tights and brown shoes, and got lots of compliments, and only put it together after seeing your outfit. I love checking your blog, and now realize fashion should be fun, and if you look good, you feel good. so many thanks to you.
