Brigitte

Striped turtleneck, Gap (via swap). Dress, Moth. Boots, White Mountain. Tights, Target. Hoop earrings, Wet Seal.

A stripey top and bouffant hair-do make me feel like Brigitte Bardot.

However, the stripes may remind some less of “Paris chic” and more of “sideshow freak.”

My best strongman pose.

I think I’m a bit more believable as French gamine.

Wow, I love this style on you. Black and white stripes is such a timeless thing. It makes me want to go the whole hog and fish out my beret!!

I love it.

I always avoid horizontal stripes because they make me feel like I look chunky in the torso area. But it never occurred to me that it could work well if I layer something over it so that the stripes aren't on my torso.

I'm not feeling this one--I love the dress, the tights and the boots, and I don't mind the shirt layered, but the stripes are throwing me off...

The hair however, a big win--I notice you wear it up a bunch--me too!

I like this - quite a different look for you. It seems a bit more casual than what you normally wear to work.

Those boots are fab!

The whole outfit - stripes, grey & brown, boots - works. I like it!

I really like the way this turned out. I agree with SN that I don't normally like stripes (I'm a bit thick in the middle) This is a great way to incorporate them. Great outfit.

Horizontal stripes are the worst possible thing someone like me could wear - I'm short with little to no torso, my boobs are currently trying to take over the world and any extra weight I carry is right in my belly...but I refuse to give them up and I'm pretty sure I have that exact same shirt.
You look amazingly cute in this outfit.

I love your hair and the boots! The rest of the outfit is really cute, not something I could get away with, but you look adorable in it.

I like the striped turtle neck. It makes me want to try a few things in my closet with that type of top.

I like it. It is cute but not age appropriate for me. Of course it looks precious on you. I am beyond precious though. ; )
