Cardigan, Moda International. Blouse, Newport News. Skirt, Talbots. Slingbacks, Linea Paolo.I can’t believe it’s been two years. I never thought this project would go on this long – or that I’d be able to come up with a different outfit each work day. In fact, I never intended to avoid repetition at all. That just sort of happened along the way. The exception to the rule is my blogoversary, on which I wear the inaugural ensemble. I’m curious as to how many years it will continue to be wearable. I did have to replace the shoes last year.
2006, 2007, and 2008
Thanks to all of you who visit and leave kind comments. I get three times the number of clicks per day that I had a year ago, and I have no idea how many of you are viewing through a reader. (I read all my blogs through Google Reader, myself!) I am also inspired by the similar blogs many of my readers maintain. Who knew wardrobe blogs would become a phenomenon? (WAY better than the “what I ate for lunch today” bunch, if you ask me.)

I found you a few months ago from a random comment on a totally unrelated blog and have become hooked, even though I am a very "unlikely" reader, or at least atypical. I don't think much about what I wear at all. I live in a very small town in Idaho and really, several pairs of jeans and a few shirts is it for me! (Although I also dressed this way when I lived in larger areas, come to think of it.)
But I live vicariously through you each morning and maybe, maybe... one day I'll step it up a bit. :) You make it seem fun, and your personality really shines through your clothes and your blogging about them.

Happy blogoversary. As a year long lurker, I figure today is an auspicious enough occasion for me to pop my head up and say hello. Todays outfit is one of my favourites. These colours are my go to colours at the moment so if you decide that this outfit won't last another year, please feel free to send it to Australia where I will wear it with great pleasure! I already have the perfect pair of shoes to accompany it. Thanks for all the inspiration you've unknowingly given me over the past year or so, too. You've encouraged me to try some combinations I never would have thought of on my own.
