Code Red

This outfit is really a combination of two I’ve worn before. Somehow, the result is less interesting than each outfit separately.

Perhaps I should have punched it up with some purple tights.

Poncho and faux pearl necklace with medallion, Newport News. Sweater, Charlotte Russe. Skirt, Travis Ayers (thrifted). Remaining faux pearls, thrifted. Tights, We Love Colors. Oxfords, Isaac Mizrahi for Target. Bag, Massini.

I love this outfit!!! I think both your uniform skirt and this skirt look great on you (It has made me want REALLY want an olive pencil skirt). The bright read poncho compliments the green but using olive instead of standard green keeps it from being too "Chrismasy." I love the colors together! But the black accents make it classy! I think this is one of my favorite outfits!

I like the outfit the way it is with the black tights. I feel like with the red, and green you have a lot of color going on, which is a good thing.

I like the outfit, but somehow feel it's missing that "Kasmira zing". But good golly, I love those colours together. I may have to do this combo soon.

Maybe the zing would have been the purple tights--next time! Paula
