I’m identified in various ways. I might be “Kasmira” or “that WhatIWore2Day blogger” or “that chick from Cincinnati.” I was puzzled to find myself referred to as an “OG fashion blogger.” I had to call Beefy and ask him what it meant*. Apparently, I’m an Original Gangster. I definitely prefer OG to “that chick from Cincinnati.” (I object to the “chick,” not the association with Cincinnati.)
I ignore the references to my “hideous outfits” (I bet this one qualifies**!) and concentrate on the other comments. I’m glad to see that regular posting, thoughtful writing, and limited advertising are appreciated.
*We had a good laugh at my cultural ignorance.
**Too many colors and patterns for general consumption, but just my taste!

The skirt is wild but totally fabulous! Loving the glasses on you, I'm a fan of them myself ;)
And as for the comments about "hideous outfits" (apart from them being soooo wrong) - at least you've got a reaction, it's so much better than indifference! Personally I can't wait every day to see what you're wearing, the bolder the better please!

I like you and I like this outfit.
LOL @ chick of Cincinnati! I'm right there with you on the object to "chick" and not the association with Cincinnati.
Personally, I think you represent style bloggers and Cincinnati very well.
Hideous!? How dare they. They simply do not have your amazing ability with patterns and colors and are obviously jealous. I look forward to your looks each day and have gotten so many more compliments on my own wardrobe since tuning in and learning to be a little bit more creative and having a lot more fun with what I wear. Thank you!!
I'm a big fan of this outfit! The stripes work so well the bold print of the skirt and the black blazer and boots keep it well grounded. Way to go, OG!
I had a comment on my blog about my dreadful leopard shoes. I think that when you get remarks like that it means you have made it to the top. I man I used to work with said he would rather someone said something bad about him that saying nothing at all. It meant people noticed him.
I personally really appreciate your style. It defines you and makes you unique. You have many followers who love to see what you are wearing and enjoy it as I do.
You are definitely the funniest person I don't really know. this place always makes me smile. =]
(and ditto what Liz said.)
I did a blog post yesterday and I mentioned you! Only because you are a TRUE inspiration! Thanks for the daily doses! Keep them coming!
And as always - this outfit is fabulous!
Again, today's outfit is inspiring to me. And just this evening as I was dressing for a Thanksgiving event at church, I referred to some of your outfits as I chose what to wear. And I got a "thumbs-up" from a stylish lady there. Hurray!
Those are exactly the reasons I've been reading your blog since the second year...not to mention the amazing outfits like today's! Love everything about this one!
I just had a conversation today with my lovely co-worker on this very subject. She said that it's not about the clothes you wear, but the "attitude" you give off when you wear them. If you are confident in your style then you could wear a bedazzled paper bag and it would look awesome! People who call your outfits hideous, clearly conform to what is "stylish", rather then developing their own sense of style. Keep wearing your hideous outfits, chick from Cincinnati--I find them to be quite lovely!
That skirt is just killer, and you look fantastic.
I agree with pretty much everything that's being said here. I don't know if you've seen the trailer for that upcoming Jonah Hiller movie "The Sitter," but upon reading your post this line from it popped into my head, "I let my haters be my motivators" (appropriately spoken by a child sporting wild colors :) In a world where everyone strives to look just like everyone else, having and owning your own style is something that should be applauded. You rock!
LOVE this version of pattern-mixing!
According to my teens, "gangsta" is a compliment.
I have never seen a single hideous outfit on you, but you are gorgeous and you have a unique style that many peeps could not carry off. Eh, maybe the haters are just jealous :)
