Tiffany Diamonds

I’ll be honest, I didn’t think Cocktails at Tiffany’s would be nearly as much fun as it turned out to be. Maybe it was the company. Maybe it was the cocktails. Maybe it was the DIAMONDS!

Cardigan, INC. Dress, Mossimo. Tights, We Love Colors. Boots, White Mountain. Bag, Colini Handbags (thrifted).

My friend Colette dressed to match Tiffany’s equity color (and the cocktails). I didn’t have a little blue bow, so I donned a pair of Tiffany & Co sunglasses.

Then, I got really crazy and started trying on diamond rings. It didn’t help that all the display rings were my size. I tweeted this picture to Beefy and freaked him out:

Yeah, that’s a $99,500 ring. My house is only valued at a little more than that.

I tried to convince Kate the Great that the rings were there to swap. She could take a Tiffany’s ring as long as she left one of her own in the display. She didn’t bite. Perhaps I could have convinced her with one more of those blue cocktails.

I left the event with a complimentary copy of Tiffany Style – 170 Years of Design. I didn’t buy anything – no locks, keys, beans, or hearts. But I’m starting to see the appeal of those Tiffany & Co diamonds.

Green is my favorite, so of course I'm gonna love this outfit! Pairing it with the animal print looks awesome!

I really, really wanted to take the $100,000 ring.

But then Megan and I would have had to pull a Thelma and Louise to get out of there alive!

Wow! Sure, that ring is pretty, but almost 100K pretty?!

Sounds like an amazing event to attend.

I like that you used different patterns within the same color family. It really works.

Thank you for the concern, Sarah. It certainly gave me a start.

On a side note, if you know anyone interested in buying a kidney, let me know.... um.... For something unrelated.

Nothing ruins a $100,000 ring like a big tacky price tag on it! :-O
