Almost the Same

Black, flutter-sleeve sweater, Ann Taylor Loft. Red, flutter-sleeve top (beneath sweater), Newport News. Linen rose-print skirt, Talbot’s. Black pumps, Michelle D. Black patent belt, Steven by Steve Madden.

I thought I had worn this sweater/skirt combo for you before, but I was mistakenly thinking of this outfit in March. I’m glad I took the effort to differentiate it from the imagined previous outfit because I really like the look of the ruffly red shirt beneath the sweater. And, of course, I love my big belt.

Speaking of repeats, a lady at my office (on my floor), has this skirt. Am I a total snob for sighing with relief when I saw her wearing it on Monday (figuring that we wouldn’t both be wearing it on Thursday)?

Cute look. Would have really been hot with red shoes.

So you knew on Monday what you would wear on Thursday? How far in advance do you plan what you will wear?

I try to plan all my outfits on Sunday night. I have very little time in the morning and am usually busy in the evening, so it is a big help to have everything planned out! I hang each outfit on a single hanger (along with the jewelry) and pull out my shoes. Streamlining my morning routine keeps me from missing the bus!

Your hair looks great this way!
I love the cute effect of the red sleeves peeking out the black sweater.
And, of course, that belt is lovely, as well as the skirt! :-)

Finally, a nice outfit, you truly have so few (I don't care what everyone else is saying about your clothes - they are lying or confused). Lose the belt though. Yuck!
