Alas, my Sundays are no longer free. I’ve started rehearsals for The Drama Workshop’s production of Comic Potential. I’m playing the actoid (like an android), Jacie.
Angie - I've posted more casual outfits lately. (I was out of the office on vacation for 2 weeks.)
And last December, when I tried all the styles in The Lucky Guide to Mastering Any Style, I found that the rocker and bohemian styles interested me most and resolved to add more of those elements to my wardrobe.
I'm now longing for all my legwarms from high school... WHY did I get rid of them???? You look so cute and comfy and warm - warm being my most favorite thing in the wintery climes of MN :)
Do you source a lot of your costumes yourself? At the community theater I perform with, they don't have a lot in their wardrobe that fits me (5'9" fairly thin women don't abound there), so I'm left trying to find my own a lot. I'm Essie in You Can't Take It With You right now, so I'm having some rehearsal issues- I need to rehearse in skirts and dresses, since I'll be performing in them, and I need to get used to stretching and dancing onstage in them (without showing the nursing home crowd anything that'll give em heart attacks). ANY costuming ideas you have would be so appreciated- it's set in 1939, and the only costume I have set in stone is a leotard/tutu/toe shoe ensemble.
Comic Potential sounds great! That's one I've never heard of before- but it's a great concept!
I have been reading your blog for a couple of months now and find that I am takng more chances with my own wardrobe. This weekend while cleaning out my closet I found a pair of leg warmers from a 80's themed birthday bash 2 years ago. I decided Saturday was the perfect day to try out boots and leg warmers. Surprisingly, it was a success. I was warm and it look great. I think I will keep the leg warmers now!

I wish we had forever 21 here in the UK, I see lots of blog posts with people wearing nice dresses from there!
Love how the pattern in the dress and in your fascinator mirror each other.
Your outfit is soooo wonderful! I'm going to look through all your posts!
Congratulations on the part! It sounds like fun.

Adorable as ever, Kasmira. Love that pendant.
I see that your style is evolving - a little more bohemian and casual these days. Does that make sense or am I batty?
