Purdy at Second Sunday

If you live in the Cincinnati area and liked the Purdy bags I wore last weekend, you can ogle the goods in person at Second Sunday in Over the Rhine on July 11th. The event is a monthly street fair with food and craft vendors. I am so there…for not only the shopping, but also the bellydancing class.

12pm-5pm Neon’s Unplugged- Beer Garden with live music

Bands at Neon’s:
Toca Madera (Nuevo Flamenco trio) 12-1:15
Bachannal Steel Band (Carribean) 1:45-3:00
Laignappe (gypsy new orleans jazz) 3:30-5:00pm

12:30pm Free yoga session, hosted by You Do Yoga, (Main at Woodward)

Whoa...what is Over the Rhine? I only thought it was a band, but it's a place? I feel dumb. But you look pretty!

Over the Rhine is a section of downtown Cincinnat, north of Central Parkway (which was once a canal).

And to add to that... The band "Over the Rhine" is from Cincinnati and took their name from the place.

hmmm... looking at your pics reminds me that I have those same blue wedges (or did at 1 time..). I have no idea where they are now or what I did with them?!?! They look great on you though!

The weather is great, and lots of people are setting up their booths! All you local readers should stop by and check it out. Vintage finds at Atomic#10. Chicken Lays an Egg is usually here as well. Sadly Whirly Girl is buzzing around France, but great coffee at Iris BookCafe and ForkHeartKnife.

The chef's demo is always great, and be sure to get here by 2:00 so you can get a bite at forkheartknife.

Free yoga session at 12:30 is given by the best instructor in the city.
