The Final Away Mission

Yes, I heard plenty of “red shirt” jokes at the Comic Con when I showed up in this Star Trek getup. But I’m happy to say I survived this particular away mission.


Shirt (actually a dress I hemmed with double-stick tape and safety pins), Roddenberry. Skirt, Miss Avenue (consignment). Boots, Style & Co (thrifted). Earrings, thrifted. Communicator, actually a poop bag carrier that I attached to a purse strap and used as a wallet.


The only merchandise I purchased was Star Wars not Star Trek themed, including these Princess Leia Santeria candles:
