I’ve had this dress since 2002 and this is the third time I’ve worn it. I wore it to our HoF cast party because I wanted to put in on trial, but eight hours in this dress reminded me of why I don’t like it; it’s stiff, tight, and uncomfortable. Some might even call it “armor-like.” I’m putting it up for swap. Just in case you’re interested in seeing the dress without the layering, here are front and side shots:

I had a dress like that myself and ended up giving it away for that exact same reason- sooo uncomfortable!
Armor is right :-)
It looks good, too bad it doesn't feel good :-(
I think I have that same dress in halter style. I never wear mine either....
Still have it? I like the look of it better without the exterior layer, but I think it would look more interesting with a metallic belt or one embellished with turquoise. Is washing the heck out of it until it softens up an option? How about undoing the bottom snap or adding a modest slit in the back?
I have heard that rubbing fabric softener sheets over denim until it is the right softness works like a charm!
Lovely denim dress, really suits you. Denim shirts and dresses are so played down in modern society
