Very awesome! The hat is an interesting, in the best way, addition!

I really like the neckline of the dress combined with the sweater, they look really pretty together.

Everything about this outfit is darling. The hat throws it over the edge. You are reminding me of "Newsies" in the most amazing way!

I agree with Kathryn, altogether lovely- you are so clever with the dress alterations.

What a pretty print! I quite think you pulled it off with aplomb.

What a lovely look! Love, love the combination of colors and all the details, the belt, the collar, the hat... perfection! Wish I had the components to copy this outfit.

Adorable, cozy country look!

I love the belt in particular. The hat is cute - did you have to take it off in the theatre? And if so, how do you deal with "hat head"? That keeps me from wearing a lot of my hats, sadly.

Great outfit!! It has a romantic feel to it that is very feminine and pretty.

Sheila - I did not have to take the hat off. I'm not sure if customs are different in Canada, but in the US, headgear is worn pretty regularly indoors. Perhaps it's a case of bad manners?

This has nothing to do with this outfit (though I love it very much) but wanted to let you know when I was getting dressed this morning for work, I looked in the mirror and thought "No." Then I thought "WWKD?" (What Would Kasmira Do?) and added red to my boring black, white and gray ensemble. I know it's still pretty tame but I'm trying. And as usual, you are a huge inspiration.

Ok, I've never left a comment before, but this fabulous dress, cardigan, belt and boots ensemble is absolutely one of my favorites. I love it!

These colors look great on you! They really warm up your face. I love the whole outfit. I gotta get me some flat boots...

This is my first time posting though I've been reading your blog for some time. My comment is not related to your absolutely adorable outfit but to your self-admitted owl obsession. I saw this bag online at Blue Q
http://www.blueq.com/shop/item/114-productId.125843345_114-catId..html and thought I would share. Whole Foods in Rookwood carries this brand but I did not see the cute owl bag in stock. Might be worth checking though!

Fabulous... again! So, Lids isn't just for Baseball caps anymore?
