Putty

Vest, Julie’s Closet. Dress, Lipstick. Pumps, Mossimo. Belt, Gap (thrifted). Ring, vintage. Headband, self-made.

Same vest I wore to the zoo on Sunday.

My putty-colored glamour shot (and a better view of my headband and ring):

I really, really like this outfit. It's so colorful. And the headband is adorable.

I think this is my favorite way you've worn this dress so far.

Do you have a post on how you made that headband?...

This is my fave dress that you own. I wish that I could find it for myself! It looks great with everything and has colors that would flatter anyone. JEALOUS!

You're so creative with how you style your dresses. I'm wearing a patterned dress today (see entry tomorrow) and I'm pretty much stumped on another variation and this is only the 2nd time I've worn it.

Love the glamour shot! You look like an old-time movie star (I love the new avatar photo, too).

CPB - I just bought a feather pad at Michael's (like the pads offered here: http://www.featherstore.com/feather-pads.aspx?CategoryID=20) and hot-glued it to a headband. Easy peasy.

I am always amazed at how you totally transform that dress every time... not that you wear it loads! but, it always look so different.

There's something about this outfit that just sparkles to me. The headband lends a vaguely flapperish touch. Very sweet.
