Roses Are Red

Roses are red, violets are blue, my bun is messy, and I know you like it, too!

Sweater, Forever 21 (sewn shut). Dress and belt, Studio I. Shoes, Gianni Bini. Bag, Massini. Earrings, Swap. Bracelets, Target. Sunnies, Girl Props.

I do so love the messy side bun. Last time I featured it on the blog, I had a request for a better picture of the roll. It’s messier than usual today because my hair is freshly trimimed and this location was windy. I reassembled the bun a few times during the day, but it’s a quick fix. The bun tutorial is here. (I place the bun in the center of my head during the video, but the technique is the same.) I love this method of creating a bun because it works with shoulder-length hair.

I LOVE this outfit! All the red works so well together, and I love the bright green backdrop.

I've pined for this particular floral cardigan since the first time I saw you wear it, but I waited too long to buy it and now it's gone. WAH!

The hair - sweet! I adore the floral sweater and want it now. It's so ladylike but with a touch of sass.

I love this outfit! I don't think I've ever met a floral I don't like, which is why I love your blog.

Adorable bun! My hair has too many layers right now so I can't do a proper bun or top knot, which means I'm a huge fan of messy buns!

Wow, this outfit is a real winner, and totally pops against the green background. You really rocked those shoes! Love the bracelets.

Kudos to you and Beefy, you've really got fashion photoshoots down now!
