I thought I’d try something new. And for $4.49, it was a low-risk proposition.
I'm still not sure if I love the look, but you can't beat the comfort.

Love this look!
The red shoes really make this. I am also not sure about the look (not on you, just in general). I prefer a slimmer leg, I think.
I like it! But I can't help but see those pants cropped into shorts and thinking how cute that would be too.
Where have you been!!?? ;)
I like the look on you. You have a very lithe body (go, Marathon girl!) and the button down and the shoes contribute to making it a streamlined look. I also love shirts with scarf ties like this one. I have got to get me one.
You look adorable! I generally don't love that shape/length of pant, but you make it work with your youth and style. And the shoes, yet again, are fab.
This cobalt blue tie neck blouse is great on you. I have a pair of wide leg cropped trousers, and I love them. I don't like wearing shorts. But, when it's really hot in the summer I am very comfortable in my cropped trousers.

I really love that look. It makes me want to get a pair of red wedges.
recent lurker, first-time poster here :) i don't wear those 3/4-leg pants; i'm too short to rock it, but it looks great on you. i agree though, the shoes definitely tie the outfit together. :)
C Lo - I think the pants would be cute as shorts, too, but then I couldn't wear them to work!
I was absent from the blog because I was boycotting real clothes for awhile. It felt good to get dressed again!
Well for what it's worth, *I* love the cropped pants on you! I'm especially loving the gray shade with the blue blouse and killer red heels. You look fantastic!!!
Come take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet
I love this outfit, except...the ankle strap on your shoes. I think these straps tend to make people look shorter, which is already a possible danger when wearing cropped pants. Whereas a heel/wedge that sits low on the foot may have made your legs looked longer.
Although perhaps, as a terminal shortie, I am over thinking this.
I'm not sure how tall you are but the cropped pants and wedges combo makes you look very tall and lithe. I think you should definitely keep the pants and use them in some future fabulous outfits. And DON'T crop them!
I think it works. I'm not sure how it'd look without the monster wedges, but I definitely like this incarnation of the outfit. Especially love the turbany scarf.
I like it! Its modern with a vintage feel, and that's so rarely a bad thing! The shirt and head scarf are amazing! I think I need them in my life!!
Girl about Town XxX
As always you can pull it off, its cheeky and fun and hey if its comfortable even better!
You look gorgeous -- I LOVE the scarf and adore the cobalt & gray pairing -- thanks for the inspiration!
I kinda dig the whole look on you as it looks- with the hair and all- kinda modern retro...
Wow, I think you look great. I didn't think I'd like wide leg crops either, but I like them on you.
That blouse is a gorgeous color.
The Ohio River is still pretty high, right? I say u should have taken those photos by it. =]
...bill - you're right. We totally missed the chance for high waters near the high water
These look great on you, because you're thin! And the top is snug and the shoes are fabulous, it's a great outfit.
I love those on you. This is my favorite outfit you've worn in a long time!
I really like it. It looks chic and effortless. The cropped pant/ankle strap combo could have translated into stumpy legs, but it certainly does not read that way in these photos. I think it's a winner.
Ilove your looks!!! I am so jealous of some of your things! I have been a huge thrift shopper for some time now but you have blown my mind!! I am inspired!
While I also prefer a slimmer leg, I got a pair of similar pants in black at my favorite thrift store and they are very comfortable and appropriate for work.
I love the look but I have to say you were the one who makes me think twice before wearing crop pants. It was even mentioned in my "what I've learned in a year of blogging " post.
