Dress and Shirt

Today, you see the last two items in my five item capsule. I’ll be re-wearing these things all week. If you want to tune out until Saturday, I understand, but this could be interesting…

Somehow this has also become “the week I stare pensively at my handbag.”

Dress, I Heart Ronson. Shirt, NY & Co. Necklace, gift. Belt, Forever 21. Shoes, Mossimo. Bag, Colini Handbags (thrifted). Hairclip, self-made.

P.S. This is my front yard. It's a jungle.

Plum and dark purple are so gorgeous together. And I love the peacock print and bird necklace!

I think it will be really interesting to see how you remix these 5 items. So I'll be sticking around all week.
Could you talk a bit about how you chose these 5 pieces? This is something I'd like to try myself and I'm not quite sure how to choose the pieces.

maryeb- sure! I'd be happy to share my process. I'll include that in my recap at the end of the week.

That color combination is great, and I think it will be interesting to see how you remix the pieces. I need some inspiration for mixing up my own wardrobe.

I like the shirt over the dress look! I also own this dress so it's fun to see the various ways you style it.

Good luck with the wardrobe challenge- 5 items seems like it might be hard!

This outfit is pretty simple, but I LOVE it! The colors are great, it's flattering, and it's very "visually interesting". Can't wait to see the rest of the week! =]
