WCC Year 3, Spring: Day 2

During the last wardrobe capsule challenge, I thought it would have been neat if I had repeated a major clothing item on consecutive days. There would be a sense of progression as the week unfolded. You’ll see me attempting that sort of styling this week.

Cardigan, The Limited. Blouse, Forever 21. Skirt, Moda International. Tights, We Love Colors. Heels, Oh Deer! Bracelet, swap.

Today, I’m wearing yesterday’s sweater.

Clothing Items (4 of 10)
2. Sweater
4. Blouse
5. Gray skirt
6. Pumps

Accessories (2 of 5)
1. Tote (not pictured)
2. Bracelet

This outfit is amazing and that sweater is awesome. I would wear it on consecutive days even without a wardrobe capsule challenge. :D

Are those pumps covered in tiny studs? How fabulous is THAT?

interesting that you are making a point to wear items on consecutive days -- i am actually making an effort NOT to, to make it less obvious that i am recycling pieces during the week and to see if anyone at work notices.

I totally agree with EvaNadine. Most of these wardrobe-themed challenges, well, challenge you to uncover things from your cupboard that you haven't worn in a longer time. They also make you think about combining different pieces than you usually do.

Your challenge seems the complete opposite. Did you choose items you normally don't wear much? Or did you just grab your favourite 10 pieces? I believe the last is what I would do, rendering the challenge completely useless :)

I really like the turqoise blouse in contrast to the military/uniform style jacket!

EvaNadine - for the last two challenges, I was worried that someone would notice that I'd worn somthing two or three times within the week, but no on ever did. I'm convinced that my coworkers aren't watching.

paisleystern - I didn't decide to participate in the challenge until Monday night....after I'd worn Monday's outfit. I'm kind of making this up as I go!

I am too trying to cover up that I am repeating things, but I am guessing that if I took a cardi to work on monday and let it sit on my chair until friday and wear it everyday.. hmmm maybe I could get away with it ?
:( too bad it's almost thursday.
BTW that is a kick ass cardigan Kasmira it really puts you out there.

oh, BTW, not sure if this fulfills the "ruffled, leopard-print, sheer blouse" from your wishlist, but this is certainly budget-friendly!

Great color combination! I love the blouse and the cardigan! I also love yesterday’s outfit. I think this cardigan is a great purchase. Good for you for buying it despite going over your budget last month. It definitely was for the greater good! ;)

Is there anything better than frogged closures? Love that sweater! You'll get the cost-per-wear down in no time, making it worth the extra expense!

I did the same thing with yesterday's and todays outfit for the challenge. Love how you remixed the jacket - it's worth wearing for 5 days straight - it's so gorgeous.
