We were in the Denver area to attend Beefy’s lovely cousin’s wedding. It was a Pinterest worthy event, set in an apple orchard with the Rocky Mountains as the backdrop. With the exception of the dancing in the barn, the entire event took place on a grass surface. Flats, wedges, or boots were advised as footwear for the ladies. Of course, I went with Day of the Dead western boots.

Shirt, FY2 (thrifted). Dress, Gap. Belt, Express. Boots, Ariat. Sunglasses, Meow Meow. Earrings, My Sister’s Closet. Clutch, vintage and thrifted.

I normally really enjoy your outfits, this one not so much. The skirt shape is interesting, it looks poofy. Does it have a liner in it? I do LOVE LOVE LOVE your boots though! :)
This skirt does have a lining, but the bell shape is due to the material of the skirt itself.
Just read your August purchase blog posting. Wish I that dress had turned out better for you. :(
like a moth drawn to a lamp, I saw this dress, doubted it would be OK on me, but felt that I wanted it anyway....in the pinky beige color. ..it is on sale, so we shall see. As I have said before, your style choices are diametrically opposed to mine, so reading your blog is always a mind-bending, eye-opening experience for me.
