Parachute

It isn’t very vegan of me, but I love silk. I find its history fascinating - especially the story of items that were once made from silk and now from nylon: stockings, umbrellas, and parachutes. How luxurious would it be to fall from the sky suspended by a canopy of silk? I suppose the word would be “terrifying” not “luxurious,” but silk still holds a special allure for me.
