Checkered Out
When I wrote Layer It, I hadn’t much experience layering dresses. Almost two years later, I’ve tried it a few times and have found that it works best when a short shirtdress is worn over a longer frock.
Checkered tunic and belt, Wet Seal. Gingham dress, Giorgio Fiorlani (thrifted). Flats, Nine West. Earrings, No Boundaries. Studded choker (worn as a bracelet), thrifted. Sunnies, Girl Props.

I love the different patterns!
Beautiful! I have yet to try layering dresses over dresses, but I'll have to go for it soon.
Totally agree that shirtdresses make the best top layer. I typically try to match lengths, but love the look of a longer bottom dress.
I have to say, this is definitely my favorite layered dress look. I love pink, black, and white. :-)
Very cute! I love the gingham plaid over the pink.
I LOVE this look! Bravo, beautiful!
That's my favorite layered dress look so far. I'd totally borrow that outfit!
