Oregon Coast Vacation

The blog has been largely silent due to my and Beefy Muchacho’s vacation to the Oregon Coast.

I tried to pack light. I didn’t bring a lot of clothes. . . but still managed to pack five pairs of shoes. (Only three pair appear, below. The other two were for the campground showers and running. And I brought home an additional two pair I found thrifting.) I was a remixing queen!

As a red headed freckle face who moved to Portland from California years ago, I must say I’m thrilled that you had a wonderful time in Oregon! It’s gorgeous here especially when the weather cooperates – which it did for you until Sunday. Our next door neighbors moved here from Cincinnati and have had a delightful time exploring all the western states. BTW, I enjoy reading your blog every day!

PS I have an old B/W photo of the Peter Ireland shipwreck from the early 1900's with a horse and buggy in front of it hanging in my living room.

I love your style. I've been following your blog for ages. I used to be a black and brown person. Not any more! I've learned from you that wearing color can be so much fun.

I love the way your style has evolved. You pose so gracefully you could teach it. You radiate on your photos, especially since Beefy came into the picture.

I love how you wear seemingly endless variations of colors, layers and patterns effortlessly. I've still been learning how to layer like you. You are a true inspiration.

Thank you for your blog and for the great links you include. You'd introduced me many of my favorite fashion bloggers. Great work!

You did a great job remixing! And what a fun trip - makes me want to visit Oregon (although the whole camping part is not my thing).

Can't wait to see your great thrift finds!
